Global Market Update
Markets opened June with mixed signals. While inflation remains under watch, the broader economic landscape is shifting in subtle but significant ways.
Governments around the world are issuing debt at record levels — a trend that’s raising concerns about fiscal sustainability. While bond markets remain steady for now, some economists warn that rising debt loads may limit policy flexibility in future downturns.
This week, investors are watching U.S. inflation data closely, with CPI and PPI due shortly. A softer reading could revive talk of interest rate cuts later this year. In Europe, political uncertainty ahead of the parliamentary elections is also back on the radar, raising questions around future fiscal coordination.
The overall tone remains cautious, with financial markets awaiting clearer direction before making their next move.
Crypto Market Highlights
Crypto markets remain stable heading into mid-June. Bitcoin is holding just under $10K, after a strong start earlier this week. Market participants appear to be waiting for a clearer signal — possibly from this week’s inflation data.
Ethereum continues to draw attention, rallying more than 10% in recent days and now trading near $2,800. Analysts are increasingly confident that $3,000 could be reached this month. Technical momentum is improving, supported by a more positive regulatory outlook from U.S. officials. SEC Chair Paul Atkins recently expressed support for decentralised finance (DeFi), calling for modernised regulation — a shift welcomed by markets.
That shift is also boosting platforms built on Ethereum — especially Aave (AAVE) and Unisys (UNI).
- Aave, a leading DeFi lending protocol, now holds over $25B in total value locked (TVL), about 20% of the entire DeFi market. Its price has surged over 30%, fuelled by expectations of institutional adoption and a long-term TVL projection exceeding $200B.
- Unisys, a decentralised exchange (DEX), has also jumped significantly in recent days. With rising trading volumes and strong protocol revenues, UNI is becoming one of the more promising DEX plays this cycle.
Both coins have open positions in our Crypto Mix Protect strategy, which has benefited from their strong momentum.
On the institutional front, Michael Saylor’s firm added another €100M+ in Bitcoin, reinforcing its strategy of long-term accumulation. While volumes remain modest overall, crypto options markets show a quiet lean towards bullish positioning.

What’s New at Diamond Pigs
Pricing Update: On Track for Summer Launch !
As announced earlier, we’re transitioning to a new pricing model designed to be simpler, more transparent, and more flexible. The system is now built, and internal testing is underway.
The new model will:
- Offer a flat monthly fee based on wallet size
- Include 1 automated strategy and 1 exchange connection
- Give you full access to your performance dashboard
- No performance fees — you keep 100% of your gains
You’ll also have the option to customise your setup with add-ons, generally priced between €10 and €20 per month. These allow you to select additional strategies, connect extra exchanges, or exclude specific coins from Diamond Pigs management — depending on your preferences.
We’re on track to begin testing with a small group of users during the summer, with a broader rollout expected shortly after.
🕑 We’ll share more details as we get closer — stay tuned.
